Privacy Policy
Charter Margin helps fishing charter operators track trips, supplies, fuel, expenses, readiness tasks, maintenance notes, restocks, and profit records. This policy explains what information the app uses and why.
Information You Add
The app may store information you enter, including trip names, trip dates, supply lists, vendor details, maintenance records, issue notes, receipt details, costs, and profit records.
Google Data
If you connect Google, Charter Margin uses Google APIs only to create, read, and update the Google Sheet files you create or select for Charter Margin. The app does not use Google data for ads, does not sell Google user data, and does not browse unrelated Drive files.
Charter Margin's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How Data Is Used
- To show the captain their charter operations dashboard.
- To track trips, expenses, supplies, maintenance, readiness, forecast, and profit records.
- To save and restore records through the captain's Google Sheet when Google sync is connected.
- To support account access and payment status when Supabase and Stripe are connected.
Data Sharing
Charter Margin is designed as a captain-controlled log. If future helper or crew links are added, they should show only the task, restock, or readiness details needed to complete assigned work.
Deleting or Exporting Data
Captains can export app data from the app's export tools. If Google sync is connected, the captain can also manage or delete their Charter Margin Sheet from their own Google Drive.
